Obituary of Janet M. Smith

Janet M. Smith Janet M. Smith, 94, of West Corners, went to be with the lord Saturday December 28, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeacesed by her husband Richard; great grandson Jodee; her Nieces Laura and Judy. She is survived by her, children, Bruce Smith of Boca Raton, FL, Joan (Jack) Steenburg of Apalachin, Jeffrey (Frances) Smith of Loxahatchee, FL. Grandchildren Shery Collins, Vicky (Matt) Anderson, Michael Smith, Lisa Conley, Holli Myers, Jason (Angela) Steenburg. 14 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Sister Beverly Engle, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church, Endicott. Past Queen of Daughters of the Nile, and past Matron of Round Hill Eastern Star. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday January 2nd at 11AM at the Union Presbyterian Church, 200 East Main St, Endicott. The Rev. Patricia Raube, pastor of her church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 East Main St, Endicott Wednesday from 1-4PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Union Presbyterian Church building fund, or to the Shriners Children Hospital, 516 Carew St, Springfield, Mass 01104.
