Obituary of Phyllis E. Margetson

Phyllis E. Margetson, 85, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Saturday January 4, 2014. She was predeceased by her sister, Anna Elizabeth Barton. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Norman E. Margetson; 3 sons, James Margetson and Donna Gunther, John and Rose Margetson, David and Nina Margetson; grandchildren, Cody (Shelia), April, Shauna (Corey), Cortney (Jared), Chad (Tara), Aaron; great-grandchildren, Grace, Joshua, Aiden, Evan, Ellery; nieces, Marge (Gene) Kilburn, Marie (Neil) Zimmer; several other great nieces and nephews and many wonderful supportive neighbors. Phyllis was a lifetime member of Whittemore Hill United Methodist Church, Owego, United Methodist Women, Owego Christian Women's Club, Foster Valley Homemakers Club, Campville Senior Citizens Club, Pinochle Card Club with friends. She loved to travel, especially to visit family. A funeral service will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, Wednesday at 12 p.m. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
