Obituary of Lawrence R. Yetter

Lawrence R. Yetter Lawrence R. Yetter, 86 years old, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 3, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Charlotte; their three children, Brian and his wife Joy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Gary of Little Meadows, PA and Renee Hellmann and her husband Chris of Apalachin, NY. Lawrence was the grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 16 children. Lawrence graduated from Newark Valley High School and Broome Community College. He was employed by GE Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Schenectady, NY for seven years and worked for IBM, Owego, NY retiring after 28 years as an advisory engineer in Hybrid Module Development. Lawrence was a faithful member of Ross Corners Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, Awana Leader, maintained and drove two busses for the Church and Christian Academy. Lawrence was a veteran of the US Army Corps. Calling hours will be at Ross Corners Baptist Church, Friday, April 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal.
