Pierre J. Greene, Jr. (Pete) Of Apalachin Pierre J. Greene Jr., 78, of Apalachin, died Monday morning, April 9, 2007, at Ideal Senior Living Center, Endicott. He was predeceased by his wife of fifty years, Nell L. Greene; parents, Pierre J. Greene, Sr. and Mary Greene; brother, Reginald Greene; sisters, Laurie B. Brink and Ethel Morgan. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Brian D. and Gail Greene and their son, Brian Greene, Jr.of Binghamton; son and daughter-in-law, Paul J. and Yasuko Greene and their children, Carolyn, Jeroko and Christina Greene of Virginia; son and daughter-in-law, Alan R. and Eileen Greene and their children, Philip, Spencer and Olivia Greene of Binghamton; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle M. and Bryan Mastroianni, and Bryan's children, Richard, Elayna and Michelle and Bryan's unborn son, Joseph of Endicott; special friends, Richard and Margaret Liberatore. Pete was a retired engineer at I.B.M. Owego, a veteran of service with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, an active member of the Apalachin Lions Club, an Avid golfer, and a devoted father, husband and friend. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Rt. 434, Apalachin. The Rev. William Prentice will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends 7:00 9:00 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home.
