Obituary of James Arthur Every

James Arthur Every, of Endicott, died unexpectedly Mnoday, June 25, 2007 at Binghamton General Hospital. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Homer and Lena Every; his brother, John Every; and three sisters, Constance Every, Wanda Every Cornick, and Ina Every. He is survived by his wife, Donna Tanzini Every; and his most treasured accomplishments, his son, Sean Every and granddaughter, Mathilda; his loving siblings to include three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ike and Mrilyn Kenai, Alaska, Homer Every, Ideal Living Center, Endicott, and Bob and Barbara Every, Johnson City. Also survived by seven sisters and brothers-in-law to include, Mary Hambalek, Vestal, NY, Joan Campfield, Endicott, NY, Marquarite and John Kjelgaard, Brigham City, Utah, Martha and Jacques Vadnais, Minden, Nev., Linda and John Browne, Vestal, NY, Susan and Ed Gentile, Duck, NC; and Sherry and Richard Mueller, Rosedale, NY. Jim is loved and will be misssed by 40 nieces, nephews and their extended families. His friends and business acquaintances reach far and wide, too numerous to attempt to count. Jim was a veteran and served in the US Army. After service Jim worked as a letter pressman, offset pressman and web press before being promoted to Director of Purchasing in Vail-Ballou/Maple Vail Press before joining his brother Bob at Harris Every Roofing Company. Most recently Jim worked at Farmers Insurance Company for his closest and dear friend, Steven Harter. Jim was a co-founder of the Broome County Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect and President of the Craftman's Guild. The family and friends of Jim Every extend an invitation to all who wish to join them in a Celebration of Jim's life. Join us Friday, June 29th, at the Sports Page, 8 1/2 Page Avenue, Endicott, from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Please bring pictures and memories to share. In lieu of flowers, a donation to an education trust fund for Jim's granddaughter, Mathilda Every would be appreciated.
