Shirley Mae Bates Of Arizona Shirley Mae Bates, 63, of Apache Junction, Arizona, formerly of Vestal, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007, in Austin, Texas. She was predeceased by her father, James Dymond, Vestal. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Sylvanis (Tony) Bates, one son and daughter-in-law, James and Jennifer Bates, one daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Stephen Jones, all of Bastrop, Texas; her mother, Leila Dymond, Vestal; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyne and William Brown, Vestal; three granddaughters, Baillie Marie Jones, Stephanie Mae Jones, and Meghen Nicole Bates; one niece, Amy and Donald Light; and one nephew, Shawn and Becky Waibel. A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 3, 2007, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Susanna DesMarais, Rector of St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Endicott, will officiate. Burial will be in the Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
