Obituary of Richard Standish

Richard Standish Of Endicott Richard Standish, 79, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, August 6, 2007, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Mark and Elizabeth Standish. He is survived by his wife, Cornelia (Corney) Standish; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Deborah and John and Tracey; daughter, Barbara; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Roberta; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and John Roman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a retired employee of IBM Endicott with 37 years of service and a member of its Quarter Century Club. He was a member of the Endicott Elks Lodge, BPOE #1977 of Endicott and a member of American Legion Post #1700 of West Endicott. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. James Serowik, Pastor of St. Josephs Church, Endicott, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Endicott Elks Lodge BPOE #1977 will conduct a Lodge of Sorrow Service Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850
