Obituary of Magdalena Rosa

Magdalena Marie Rosa Of Vestal Formerly of Delhi Magdalena Marie Rosa passed away Friday, August 31, 2007, at the Vestal Nursing Center. She was born in Hardenburgh, NY on December 30, 1916, the daughter of Irene and Augustus Stewart. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Rosa; her sister, Mary Taylor; and her son-in-law, Rev. James Burgdorf. She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Burgdorf, Port Huron, MI; a son and daughter-in-law, Stewart and Gertrude Rosa, Apalachin, NY, grandchildren, Kenneth Burgdorf, Arianne Burgdorf, Christopher and Melissa Rosa, Todd and Sarah Rosa, Scott and Jennifer Rosa, six great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, William Taylor and a niece and several nephews. She was employed by the Delaware National Bank, Delhi, NY for many years. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church, Delhi. The family would like to thank the staff of Cypress Unit at Vestal Nursing Center for the loving care they gave our mother. At Maggies request, her body was donated to the SUNY Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
