Obituary of Marianne Olevano

Marianne E. (Nina) Olevano of Endicott Marianne E. (Nina) Olevano, 85, of Endicott, passed away on February 23, 2009. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas James Olevano; her parents, Paul and Louise Santodonato; her brother, Louis Santodonato; her sister, Emma Fortunato; and her daughter-in-law, Donna Olevano. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Armand Olevano Sr.; her sister, Mary Frate; her sister-in-law, Helen Desimone, Windsor; her son and daughter-in-law, Armand Jr. and Barbara Olevano, Endwell; daughter and son-in-law, Anne Louise and Dr. Octavio Chirino, St. Louis; her grandchildren, Thomas Olevano, Binghamton, Sharon Olevano, Los Angeles, Carolyn Warenberg, St. Louis, Robert Chirino, St. Louis, Michael Chirino, Los Angeles; her great-grandchildren, Nina Chirino, Henry and Lily Warenberg, all of St. Louis; and many nieces and nephews. She was retired from Ideal Hospital, Endicott. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott; the Catholic Daughters of America; the Endicott Democratic Committee; Daughters of Columbus; and a longtime volunteer for the B.C. Open. The family wishes to thank the staff on the 2nd floor at Willow Point Nursing Home for their wonderful care and support. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 27, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church in Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Funeral arrangements are by Coleman and Daniels, Endicott. At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours.
