Obituary of Dorothy L. Myers

Dorothy L Myers Of Endicott Dorothy L. Myers, 88, of Endicott, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at the Absolute at Endicott. She was predeceased by her parents, former Endicott Chief of Police, Leroy Wike and his wife, Ruth; and her husband, Raymond L. Myers. She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond Jr., and Teresa Myers, Vestal, Gregory and Ruth Myers, Va., Kurt and Edna Myers, West Corners, Jonathon and Christine Myers, Vestal, David and Paula Myers, California; 14 grandchildren. Dorothy was a woman of great spirit, optimism and class and class. She was an avid Giant and Yankee fan and Vestal Football fan during the Dick Hoover era. She was employed by IBM in the early 1940s and sang with the IBM band. She and her brother, Ralph and sister, Marion sang on the local radio station. She loved music, particularly jazz. She also was a history buff. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Dorothy on Friday, December 28, 2007 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. Those wishing may make contributions in Dorothys memory to the charity of their choice.
