Obituary of Ernest L Brown

Ernest L. (Brownie) Brown formerly of Endicott Ernest L. (Brownie) Brown, 87, of Endicott, entered into his Father's Kingdom on Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Binghamton General Hospital. He will be joined there by his wife, Ruth Brown and his parents, Margaret and Paul Brown. He is survived by his loving sister and caregiver, Hilda Parker; also his nieces, Candace and husband, Bruce Gregory, Cynthia and husband, Bill Wigner, and Paula Brown Daniels; his great-nieces and nephews, Joshua and Cathy Gregory, Sarah and Aaron Gregory, and Justin and Jamie Wigner. Brownie worked for over 30 years at IBM Endicott and was a member of its Quarter Century Club. He was an avid wood worker and had a love of nature. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Stephen Heiss, Pastor of the Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Binghamton, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until service time at 11.
