Obituary of Hans Boedecker

Hans Boedecker of Vestal Hans Boedecker, 87, of Vestal, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at his home. He is predeceased by Ursula, his wife of 63 years, in 2002. He is survived by two daughters, Jutta B. Brown, Vestal, Vera Boedecker, Smithville, Tenn.; one son, Hans Boedecker, Hawley, Pa.; four granddaughters and their families, Kathleen Dowdy, Albuquerque, N.Mex., Kerry Connors, Memphis, Tenn., Alicia O'Connors, Orlando, Fla., Sarah Tiffany, Maine, N.Y.; two great-grandchildren, Grace Ursula Broadway, Memphis, Tenn., Kayle O'Connors, Orlando, Fla. Hans was a member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, Endicott. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Cate and Mark Lenihan for the loving care they gave our father. Funeral and interment services for Hans will be held 12 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2009, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott with Rev. Michele Fischer, Pastor of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be at the family's convenience at Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 Noon.
