Obituary of Kathy L. Rosati

Kathy L. Rosati, 62, of Endicott, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2008. She is predeceased by her mother, Helen M. Vanderpool; and stepfather, Harry Vanderpool, Endicott. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-law, Shauna and Sam Battaglini, Endwell, N.Y. and Dr. Andrea Rosati, Endicott, N.Y. She is also survived by sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Alan Stanton, Binghamton, N.Y.; nephew, Brendon Stanton; three grandchildren, Kyle Battaglini, Nick Battaglini, and Joey Battaglini, Endwell; cousin, Becky Peters, Owego, N.Y.; and many other cherished relatives and friends. Kathy was an employee of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for over 25 years and was a member of the Union-Endicott High School Class of 1963. Kathy found tremendous joy in her children and grandchildren, and her humility, kindness, and sense of humor will be sorely missed. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lourdes Hospital and especially the nurses of the Lourdes Intensive Care Unit for their excellent care and concern. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 1, at 9 a.m. at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 306 Odell Ave., Endicott at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home on Friday, February 29, from 6-8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Kathy's memory may be made to the American Lung Association or to the charity of one's choice.
