Obituary of Faye A. Gritman

Faye A. Gritmanof Vestal Faye A. Gritman, 47, of Vestal, passed away unexpectedly at her home March 1, 2008. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary Gritman in 2007; and her son, Garrett Gurney in 1983. She is survived by her significant other, Bernard Gurney, Vestal; two sons, David Stacconi Jr., Adam Gurney, Vestal; two granddaughters, Kayleigh Stacconi, Natalie Gurney; her father, David Gritman, Endicott; her siblings, Maxine and Michael Haskell, Arizona, Jill Pedley, Johnson City, Bonnie Gritman, Endicott, Robert Gritman, Endicott; also several nieces and nephews. Faye was an employee of the Maine Endwell School District, working in the Food Service Department. She was a wonderful and loving friend, a devoted mother and grandmother, and was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service for Faye will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at the Apalachin Alliance Church, 293 Tobey Rd., Apalachin, N.Y. The Rev. Thomas Briggs will officiate. Interment will be at the family's convenience. The family will receive friends at the Apalachin Alliance Church, Tuesday, March 11th, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing may send floral tributes to the Apalachin Alliance Church, 293 Tobey Rd., Apalachin, N.Y.
