Obituary of Raymond E Prentice

Raymond E. Prenticeformerly of Endwell Raymond E. Prentice, 98, formerly of Endwell, died Thursday morning, March 20, 2008, at the Ideal Senior Living Center. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna in 1996; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dorothy and Lester Echinger. He is survived by two sons, Wayne and Patricia Prentice, Vestal, Todd Prentice and Linda, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Chad Prentice, and Kristy and husband, Zebb Patterson; two great-grandchildren, Brenden and Bryant. He was a retired employee of the former Columbia Gas Company where he was affectionately known as Pappy and was a lifetime member of the O.L. Davis Volunteer Fire Company of Endwell. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 12 Noon from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Rob Campbell of the New Life Ministries Church will officiate. Burial will be in Kattelville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 10 a.m. until service time at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Ideal Senior Living Center in c/o the UHS Foundation, 10-42 Mitchell Ave., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903 or to the O.L. Davis Volunteer Fire Company, Country Club Rd., Endwell, N.Y. 13760.
