Obituary of Stanley Emond

Stanley H. Emondof West Corners Stanley H. Emond, 82, of West Corners, died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Bonnie Emond, Owego; son, Gary Emond, Whitney Point; daughter, Debbie Emond, West Corners; daughter and son-in-law, Yvone and Robert Motsavage, West Corners; three grandchildren, Dennis and Amy Emond, Jennifer Emond, Nathan and Stephanie Emond; three great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Sarah and Stacy; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Kathleen Swart; a niece, Sharleen and Bill Hromada; and a special companion, his dog, Bandit. Stanley was a retired I.B.M. employee, a member of the I.B.M. Quarter Century Club, a Veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. The funeral and interment service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, White Store, N.Y., at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at United Health Services Wilson Regional Medical Center for their care and would like to direct donations in Stanley's memory to the Oncology Dept. of the Medical Center, 33-57 Harrison St., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
