Obituary of Lillian Eckler

Lillian J. (Timson) Ecklerof Vestal Lillian J. Eckler, of Vestal, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Josephine Timson; a sister, Mildred Hall; and brothers, William and Myron Timson. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Eckler, Vestal; her children and their spouses, Bob and Karen Eckler, Robin and Ray Bartholomew, Rick and Ellen Eckler, all of Endicott; grandchildren and their spouses, Carly and Brendan Gayer, Josh and Ann Eckler, Travis and Andrea Eckler, Paige Bartholomew and Patrick Bartholomew; five great-grandchildren, Clare and Baby Gayer, Brexton and Quinn Eckler and Carmindy Eckler; brothers and sisters and their families, Robert Timson, John and Phyllis Timson Jr., Rosemary Studer, Geraldine and Ron Hendee, Pearl (Cookie) and Lanny Miller; sister-in-law, Marian Timson; special friends, Orpha and Irving Rosenbarker, Walt and Patsy Carmon, Keith and Nancy French, Judy Sullivan. Lillian grew up in the First Ward of Binghamton and was a member of the Union Center United Methodist Church and the Senior Citizens Club of Vestal. The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Union Center United Methodist Church, 128 Maple Dr., Union Center. The Rev. Brown Naik, Pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Memorial Fund of Union Center United Methodist Church, 128 Maple Dr., Endicott, N.Y. 13760.
