Obituary of George H. Harper

George H. Harper Of Apalachin George H. Harper, 84, of Apalachin, went to be with his beloved wife Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Binghamton General Hospital. He is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Ethel Harper; also his first wife, Irene Bowser Harper; and his second wife, Margaret L. Tingley Harper. He is survived by his only son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Sue Harper, Sr. Apalachin; one brother, Levert Harper, Apalachin; seven grandchildren, Arica Shupe, Amy Tuttle Hoskins, Randy Harper, Jr., Vita Harper and William Harper, Leslie Eldridge and Steve Beavers; also eight great-grandchildren; one niece, Sharon Harper, Apalachin; one nephew, Wayne Harper, Apalachin. George was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy and was a retired employee of Feduke Ford, Vestal. A Funeral Service for George will be held Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., State Route 434, Apalachin, NY. The Rev. Michael Jayne, pastor of the South Apalachin Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 8:00 P.M.
