Beryl F. Keesler
of Endicott, N.Y.
formerly of Honesdale, Pa.
Beryl F. Keesler, 85, entered into heaven on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in the presence of her family. She was born in Cadosia, N.Y., and graduated from Delaware Valley High School. She worked as a domestic and waitress in her adult life. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Eva Brigham; her husband of 44 years, Abe; three brothers, Ernest, Chester and Art Brigham; and her son-in-law, Donald Soliwoda. She is survived by her children, George Keesler, Liberty, N.Y., Mary Soliwoda, Johnson City, N.Y., and Linda (David) Kresge, Apalachin, N.Y. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicole Kresge, Jason Kresge; and great-grandchild, Marissa Kresge, all of Apalachin, N.Y. Also survived by her twin sister, Beatrice Baston (Robert), Pensacola, Fla., and Mary Tyler (Edwin), Youngsville, N.Y. Also many cousins, nephews and nieces. She was a member of the Abrahamsville United Methodist Church, Abrahamsville, Pa. The family wishes to express appreciation to Ideal Senior Living Center, especially Tulip and Daisy courts for the compassionate care given to our mother during her stay at the center.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Mary Jean Simonin, Pastor of the Apalachin United Methodist Church, will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790; the Alzheimer's Association of the Southern Tier, 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760; or to the Ideal Senior Living Center, 600 High Ave., Endicott, N.Y. 13760.
