Obituary of Clarence Loudenslager

Clarence A. "Loudy" Loudenslagerof Apalachin Clarence A. "Loudy" Loudenslager, of Apalachin, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, May 12, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. He was born May 16, 1920, in Painted Post, N.Y. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Leona J. Loudenslager in 2005; and his sister, Beverly. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Alan Kessler, Apalachin; a brother, Winston Loudenslager, Orlando, Fla.; also several nieces and nephews. He was a retired employee of the IBM Corp. and the IBM Quarter Century Club, a member of the Vestal United Methodist Church, and a veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the board of directors for the IBM Homestead. The funeral service will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main St., Vestal, the Rev. Michael K. Willis will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott.
