Obituary of Joseph Schneider

Joseph Schneiderof OwegoJoseph Schneider, 81, of Owego, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Schneider; and a granddaughter, Jessica D'Agati; and two nephews, Martin and Larry Schneider. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Schneider; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Kathy Schneider, and son, Steven Schneider, both of Owego; a daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Patrick D'Agati, Elberta, Ala.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Sally Schneider, Vestal and Adolph and Grace Schneider, Owego; seven grandchildren, David, Joseph, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Joshua, and Elizabeth; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joseph owned and operated a dairy farm in Owego since the age of 16. He was also employed by the U-E School District as a bus driver for over 30 years. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main Street, Endicott with the Rev. Douglas Clark officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
