Obituary of Edward Merle Hendrick

Edward Merle Hendrick, 78, of Concord, N.C., formerly of Endicott, died Tuesday, May 30, 2008 in Concord, NC. He was predeceased by his wife, Wilma Mae(Green) Hendrick in 2005 and a brother, Roger. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jatana, Concord, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela J. and Roger Land, Dallas, NC; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Elwood and Doris Hendrick, Maine, NY; sister-in-law, Shirley, Endicott; several nieces and nephews. Edward was a retired employee of IBM and a veteran of the Korean War, serving wtih the US Army and was a member of the West Corners Volunteer Fire Department. A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott with the Rev. Brown Naik officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
