Leon "Willie" C. May Jr.of EndicottLeon "Willie" C. May Jr., 69, of Endicott, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 14, 2008, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by an infant son, Scott; a grandson, Cody Maguire; and a sister, Betty Lou Allen. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carolyn May; four children and their spouses, Sue and Bill Maguire, Joel and Cassie May, Tammy and Jeff Teeter, and L. Bradley and Suzanne May; his grandchildren, Shea-Lyn and Ty Maguire, Joshua and Jacob May, Andrew, Rebecca, Keturah, Megan, Jessica, and Abigail Teeter, Shawn Angel, Courtney, Sidney, and Nathan May; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dottie and Wally Shirley, and Barbara and Charley Russell; a sister-in-law, Lillian Clark, Hawaii; a brother and sister-in-law, Wade and Peg Clark, Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Willie was an employee of U-E High School for 32 years, working on maintenance and as Equipment Manager. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time with his special friends and co-workers at Ideal Bowling Lanes, Jennings Street, Endicott. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting. At his request, there will be no services. Private entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott. Friends wishing are asked to make contributions in his memory to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, N.Y. 13850. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main St., Endicott.
