Obituary of Gladys R Comstock

Gladys R. Comstockof Vestal Gladys R. Comstock, of Vestal, passed away Tuesday morning, June 17, 2008, at the Vestal Nursing Center. She was born September 18, 1926 in Sayre, Pa., daughter of the late Thaddeus and Beatrice (Houghtalen) Falsey. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Comstock in 1980. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Zwart, Vestal; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Heather Comstock, Dover, Del.; four grandchildren, Allison and Christopher Zwart, Adrianne and Jacqueline Comstock; and a very special great-granddaughter, Kaylee Marie. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Georgia Falsey; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Comstock; and many nieces and nephews. She was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City. She was a longtime area antiques dealer, specializing in paper ephemera and early post cards. The family would like to thank the staff of the Cypress Unit at the Vestal Nursing Center for their loving care given to our mom and grandma during her stay there. At Gladys' request, there will be no services.
