Obituary of Fotis A. Papagelos

Fotis A. Papagelosof Vestal Fotis A. Papagelos, 77, of Vestal, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 22, 2008, in Newton, New Jersey due to an automobile accident. He is predeceased by two brothers Christos, and Angelo. He is survived by his wife, Sofie, Vestal; one son and daughter-in-law, Agisilaos (Ike) and Beth Papagelos, Deposit, N.Y; three grandchildren, Fotis, Angelo, and Kylie Ann Papagelos, all of Deposit; two sisters, Paraskevi and Nikolitza, both of Greece; one brother, Dimitrios, New Jersey; also several relatives and friends in New York, New Jersey, and Greece. Fotis was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation of Vestal. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A funeral service for Fotis will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 4121 O'Hara Drive, Vestal, N.Y. The family will receive family and friends AT THE CHURCH, Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions in Fotis' memory to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation.
