Obituary of Lucille Morey
Lucille Ann (Jewell) Morey of Endicott 8/29/40 -7/2/08
Lucille Ann (Jewell) Morey was reunited in Heaven with her daughter, Deborah Ann, on July 2, 2008. Lucille was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Jewell and her brother, Dale Jewell. Lucille is survived by her companion, Gary Huff; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (Mike) Flynn, Apalachin, N.Y.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert (Lisa) Morey, Kannapolis, N.C., William (Kathy) Morey, Youngsville, N.C.; her eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, Eric, Rachael (Jason), Adam, Benjamin, Jackie, Nicholas, Matthew, Emily, Jade, Willow, and Owen. She is also survived by her mother, Eleanor Dedrick, Fla.; two sisters, Carolyn (Greg) Howell, Deborah (Tim) Chadwick; three brothers, Alan (Sandra) Jewell, Phil (Barb) Jewell, and James McGrath; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lucille was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1449 of Endicott. She retired in 2006 after 22 years of service with Amphenol Interconnect. She also worked as an Avon Representative. We will each carry our own cherished memories of our mother and grandmother, the strength and courage she held throughout her life, and we will remember always that she loved us each unconditionally.
A Funeral Service for Lucille will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2008, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Susan Davis will officiate. Burial will be in the Maine Cemetery, Maine, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Those wishing may make contributions in Lucille's memory to the American Cancer Society, Broome County Chapter, 13 Beech St., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790 or to Boy's Town (www.boystown.org)
