Obituary of Evelyn Garrison

Evelyn M. Garrisonof Apalachin Evelyn M. Garrison, 78, of Apalachin, passed over Friday, July 25, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Frances Martin; her husband, Howard Garrison; brother, Charles Martin; sisters, Dorothy Craig and Helen Ely. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Julie Garrison, Vestal; sister, Mary Shattuck, Endicott; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Phyllis Martin, Apalachin; sister and brother-in-law, Marian and Roger Barton, Apalachin; grandson, Dan Garrison and wife, Kelli, Charleston, South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Bill Ely, Apalachin. Evelyn retired from IBM Owego in 1991. She was a member of Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary's Church, Apalachin; Apalachin-Little Meadows Senior Citizens; the Owego Moose; and was a volunteer with Waterman Conservation Center. The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary's Church, Apalachin, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 6519 Rt. 434, Apalachin, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
