Obituary of Rose M. Heinrich

Rose M. Heinrich Rose M. Heinrich of Vestal Center was born April 10, 1930, and passed away Monday May 5, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was predeacesed by her son Richard in 1974. Rose grew up in Katteville and Schenectady, where she met and married Herb, her loving husband of 63 years. They moved to Binghamton in 1956 with General Electric, and raised three children. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lynn S. Heinrich of Apalachin, and Janice M Stainken and her husband Mark of Willsboro, NY; grandchildren, Micaela and Melody, Owen and Jeanna; one great grandchild, Blake; sister, Shirley Tabor of Scotia, NY; and members of the Jock family in Plattsburgh. Rose was active in the Scouts, PTA, and various charities. She was a former employee of the Vestal Central School District. Funeral and Interment Services will be held Thursday at 6PM from The Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Jeff Aiosa, pastor of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, will officiate. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Thursday from 4PM until service time at 6PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
