Obituary of Norma Jane Chase

Norma Jane Chase, 71, formerly of Endicott, NY, was taken to heaven Thursday, May 1st, 2014, surrounded by her family in her new home of Port Saint Lucie, FL. Norma was born in Endicott, NY on April 10th, 1943. She was the daughter of Robert Springer and Anna Cummings. Norma attended Union-Endicott High school, part of graduating class 1960. She was married to Robert D. Chase on May 23rd, 1971 and he awaits her in heaven; he passed on July 25th, 1996. Norma sold Tupperware as well as Coppercraft for many years and was a collector of all things beautiful. She was a sweet hearted woman who would help anyone she met. She was a cat lover through and through and always had a couple around to keep her company. She is survived by her younger brother, Robert Springer and his wife Kathryn Springer of Port St Lucie, FL; her niece, Heather Springer and nephew, Robert Springer of Port St Lucie. Also surviving her are her sister-in-law, Betsy Zimmer; as well as in-laws, cousins and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. in Endicott from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 13th. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Endicott.
