Obituary of James R. Lupole

James Robert "Bob" Lupole Johnson City: Bob, age 94, went to Heaven to be with Jesus Christ his Saviour on May 9, 2014. He died at home with his loving family by his side. Bob was predeceased by his wife Lucy of 65 years, son John (Jack) Lupole and granddaughter Hollie (Lupole) Fletcher and siblings Bernard, Marian, Don (also died on May 9, 2014), and Shirley. He is survived by caregiver son Ken, daughter Pat and husband Tim Noyes, son Larry and wife Kathy, grandchildren; Jason Lupole and (fiancée Gina), Jeff Lupole, Lisa and (Dennis) Moravek, Jill and (David) Rodrigues, Amy and (Kevin) Foster, and Angie and (Jordan) Hillegass, 30 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, 12 nieces and nephews, his brother Keith and (Dody) Lupole. Bob served in the Army's 101st Calvary, was a Military Police, and was in the Tank Division during World War II, 1941-1945. He then worked for IBM for 36 years until his retirement. Dad was a devoted hardworking husband and father, a faithful Christian, lived a self-disciplined life, enjoyed daily walks and riding his motorcycle, and visits to the doughnut shop. "Dad, we love you and miss you very much!" ~ Your Family. A funeral service will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main St. Vestal, on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Matt Smith Pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Vestal will officiate. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga, NY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
