Obituary of Florence C. Demetros

Florence C. Demetrosof Vestal Florence C. Demetros, 83, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 2, 2009. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Helen (Gunset) Demetros; her brothers, Leon, Frank, Thomas, and William; her sisters, Dorothy (Phillip) Fritsch and Catherine Demetros. She is survived by her special nephew, William Demetros, Barton, NY; also several other nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Irene and Alberta Demetros; and her devoted friends, Phyllis Hackling and Mary Deritis. Florence was a retired employee of the Endicott-Johnson Corp. and Binghamton University. A funeral service for Florence will be held Monday, April 6, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make contributions in her memory to the Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892.
