Obituary of Alice L. Chrzanowski

Apalachin: Alice L. Chrzanowski, 80, of Apalachin, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at her home. She was born November 15, 1934 in Towanda, PA. She was predeceased by her sisters; Dolores (Earl) Insinger, and Joan (Donald) Shaffer. She is survived by her loving husband, Bernard Chrzanowski, son, Douglas (Colleen) Chrzanowski, Owego, NY, siblings; Rose Mary (Russell) Bennett, Gloria Ann Bryan, Patsy Jean (Douglas) Fries, Dorothy Silverstrim, Robert Silverstrim, Connie (Robert) Vohrer, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Alice was a member and treasurer of the Apalachin United Methodist Church, a member of the Eastern Star Round Hill Chapter #104, Endicott and was inducted into the BJCE USBC Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame. She had a love for bowling and genealogy. The family will receive friends at the Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St. Dushore, PA on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 1-3 pm with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Alice can be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St Johnson City, NY 13790.
