Obituary of Shirley M. Stamelos

Shirley M (Heckathorn) Stamelos, 73 of Endicott went to be with the Lord Friday February 6, 2015, at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Sarah Fultz; husband, Ferdinand Heckathorn; and her four children, Bill, Michael, David and Erin. She is survived by her son, Donald Heckathorn and daughter-in-law, Lynn Heckathorn; grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Danielle, Tony and Amanda Heckathorn; great-grandchild, Hope Heckathorn; two brothers, James Fultz and his family, Jerry Fultz and his family. Shirley was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Owego, a retired employee of Endicott-Interconnect, and a former member of the Apalachin Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11AM from the Zion Lutheran Church St Rt 17C in Owego. The Rev. Aaron Schian pastor will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main St, Endicott Wednesday from 5-7PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Zion Lutheran Church or to the charity of one's choice.
