Obituary of Grace D. Ireland

Grace D. Ireland, 87, of Endwell, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Ruth Lindsay, brother Jack Lindsay in California. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Leonard H. Ireland; three children, John and Yvonne Ireland, Rochester, NY, Karen and Steve Koestner, Mahwah, NJ, Elizabeth and Marvin Turner, Kernersville, NC; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters, Anne Sitak, Jean Chadwick, St. Catharines, Ontario Canada; several close friends and neighbors. Grace was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Endicott, a charter member of Endwell League of Community Action for 20 years where she held various offices and committee assignments. She was treasurer for two terms and director for one term. Grace was a member for 15 years of PEO Sisterhood, past president for two years and corresponding secretary. She was also on PEO New York State Scholarship Committee for two years. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC. 300 E. Main St. Endicott, on Saturday May 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 400 W. Wendell St. Endicott, on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. Private entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 400 W. Wendell St. Endicott, NY 13760, in memory of Grace.
