Obituary of George Laskaris

George Laskaris, 93, of Endicott, passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY on Tuesday April 28, 2015. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Patricia in 2007; his parents, Nicholas and Mary; son, Nicholas; as well as three brothers and a sister. He is survived by son, Timothy; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Paul Mahoney of Buffalo, NY; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild; and his brother, Tommy Laskaris. George was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Vestal, and was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army and a 40 year member of the Army Reserve. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10am from the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation 4121 O'Hara Dr, Vestal with Father Michael Bahlatzis officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the Church Saturday morning from 9am until time of service at 10am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the memorial fund of the church.
