Obituary of Barbara J Ryan

Barbara J. Ryan of Vestal Barbara J. Ryan, 83, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord Friday morning, April 10, 2009, at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul V. Ryan. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Smith of Apalachin, Paulette Maddox of Alabama; her grandchildren, Jennifer Moyle and husband, Ken, Kristine Parrish and husband, Tim, Beth Patrick and husband, Mike, Joshua Smith, and Rachel Howe and husband, Dave; great-grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, James and Trisha; her two sisters, Audrey Pierce and Shirley and her husband, Worth Nestlerode, both of Vestal; nieces and nephews, Brian Nestlerode and wife, Patricia, Dale Nestlerode and wife, Nancy, Cheryl Nestlerode; also several grandnieces and nephews. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Vestal, a retired employee of IBM Owego, with 26 years of service, and a member of its Quarter Century Club. She was a very caring and loving woman and was devoted to her family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. David Rising, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Corning Area Bible Club, P.O.
