Obituary of Carlin R. Deuel

Carlin R. Deuel February 27, 1920 - June 15, 2015 Carlin R. Deuel, resident of Hilltop United Methodist Home, formerly from Lake Placid, FL and Vestal, NY, was reunited with his wife, Doris R. Deuel on June 15, 2015. He is survived by his children Ellen (David) Lewis, Bob (Sarah) Deuel, Nancy English; grand-chi ldren, Nicole and Brian Wagner, Tracy and DiAndre Summerville, Jim Brownlow, Bobbi Jo and Andrew Deuel-Lewis, Kelly and Chris Hoyt, Matt English and Aubrey Harman; and seven great grandchildren; his brother Kenneth (Jane) Deuel. He is predeceased by his brother Walter Deuel and son-in-law Bob English. After retiring from IBM in 1975, he worked for his wife in the Vestal Tax Collectors Office, until they both retired to Lake Placid, FL. He was an avid golfer with 5 Holes in One to his credit. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Hilltop United Methodist Home. The Rev. Lea Harding will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, give someone your smile, that's what Dad did until the day he passed.
