Obituary of Marc H. Bernard

Marc Henri Bernard of Endicott Marc Henri Bernard tragically died on April 3, 2009 with his beloved wife Marie Sonia Bernard by his side. He leaves 2 beautiful children Hermanoschy and Valentina Chystelle Bernard. He is survived by his mother Christianne Bernard (Haiti), and his father Malvoix Clermont (Haiti), a brother George Clermont and wife (PA) and their children, sisters Altagrace and Elizabeth Bernard (Haiti), by his godmother Mrs. Duquela (Boston) and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins. Marc Henri was born in Haiti May 24, 1964 and resided there until 2007 when he migrated to the US to be with his wife. He received his Associate Degree and was a certified Electrician in Haiti where he worked for the State Electricity Company EDH until 2006. He loved learning and as a result he continuously attended classes at the American Civic Association to better his English. He was in search of a better life for himself and his family. Marc Henri was a caring energetic and dedicated father. His tragic death is a tremendous loss to anyone that had the pleasure to have met him. Marc Henri will be remembered by the many whose lives he touched. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m, Friday, April 17, at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St., Endwell. Burial will be at Riverhurst Cemetery in Endwell. In lieu of flowers, donations for the Bernard children can be sent to the "Bernard Children Trust Fund" at NBT Trust Department, 3121 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, NY 13850.
