Obituary of Charles R. Williams

Charles "Buzzy" Williams died after a brief illness on July 29, 2015. Buzzy was born on August 20, 1957 in Johnson City, NY. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Williams of Vestal. He is also survived by his sons, Charles of Vestal and Derrick and Kyle of Owego. In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Kathleen (Gary) Boll, Nancy Williams Frank and Thomas Williams and seven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Charles R. Williams, Sr., in 2013. Buzzy graduated from Vestal High School in 1976. He attended SUNY Delhi and BCC. Buzzy worked at Hadco and later at Sanmina Corporation for over 30 years. Buzzy enjoyed riding his motorcycles, watching NASCAR racing, and was an avid pool player. Buzzy and his father spent many an afternoon "couch coaching" the Giants and Yankees. Buzzy was a loving son and father. He was one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Services for Charles will be held on Monday August 3rd at 7pm at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC. 765 Main St. Vestal. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7pm before the service. Rev. Daniel Eddings will officiate. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
