Obituary of Betty J. Ellis

Betty J. Ellis, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at the Willow Point Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ida Hayes; former husband, Douglas V. Ellis, Sr., and son, Richard D. Ellis. Betty is survived by her children, William H. Ellis; Douglas V. Ellis, Jr., and Gloria L. (William) Gow; 9 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces, and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Willow Point North-One for their kind and compassionate care given to Betty during her stay. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the Vestal Hills Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 834 Bunn Hill Road, Vestal.
