Obituary of Beulah M Reed

Beulah Reed of Vestal Beulah Reed, 80, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday April 15, 2009. She was predeceased by her brother, Rodney Hill; her parents, Lewis and Mildred Hill and her loving husband of 50 years, Budleigh Reed. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Devere Mayo; her 5 children and their spouses, Barbara and Shawn Boger, Byron and Julie Reed, Bonnie and Glenn Metcalf, Brad and Rene Reed, Bruce and Sandy Reed; 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was a lifetime resident of Vestal. She was a member of the National Tole Painters Society. Beulah enjoyed her art work. She received her certification with the National Tole Painters Society. She has painted ornaments for the White House and was invited to attend a reception there. She has work in the Smithsonian and was even commissioned to paint a plate for Cracker Barrell. She was a part of Christmas on the Ridge craft show for 20 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist church, Vestal and served the Lord at 16 years old until recently as a church organist for different churches. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Loren Maxon and David Rising will co-officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Bethel Baptist Churchy, North Jensen Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
