Obituary of Ruth O. Brown

Ruth O. Brown, 101, formerly of Endwell, died Thursday, October 22, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Ida Brown; sister, Grace Brown, four brothers, Raymond, James, Paul and David. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was a sweet woman and a lady in the truest form. She loved to knit and was mostly known for being a fantastic cook, using many Pennsylvania Dutch recipes. She was a member of the Endwell United Methodist Church, and could often be found helping anywhere needed. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11AM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 East Main St, Endicott. The Rev. Mark Kimpland, pastor of her church will officiate. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10AM until service time at 11. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Blvd, Endwell, NY 13760.
