Obituary of Olga Susan Penkoski

Olga Susan Penkoski of Apalachin Olga Susan Penkoski, 86, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2009. Olga was born on June 9, 1922 and was raised in Throop, PA and also lived in Bridgeport, CT and Bethpage, NY before retiring to Apalachin, NY in 1983. She was a proud and loving grandma to Sara and Olivia Penkoski, her twin granddaughters. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Karen Penkoski; her sister, Grace Baron; sister and spouse, Anne and Fred Moser; brother, Milan Mazak; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Paul Penkoski; brother-in-law, Donald R. Baron Sr.; and sister-in-law, Mary Mazak. Olga was a member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church in Endicott and she never missed the chance to share a recent picture or story about her twin granddaughters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, Endicott with the Rev. Michele Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive their friends on Friday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Elizabeth Church Manor for their wonderful care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Olga may be made to Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 312-314 E. Main St., Endicott.
