Obituary of Leslie James Truesdale

Leslie J. Truesdale, 77, passed away in the loving arms of his wife and daughter on Saturday morning, January 9, 2016 at Ideal Senior Living Center. Les was born in Lynn, MA on February 18, 1938 to William J. and Phyllis M. Truesdale. He attended schools in Lynn, MA and later at Albany Business College. Les began his career at GAF Corporation holding several positions including manager of the service department. He and his business partner then formed BC Reprographics where he held the position of President. Les is survived by his loving wife, Almina; daughter, Kathleen; sons, Donald (Christina) and Douglas; step-son, Douglas Race; grandchildren, Camilla, Calder, Capri, Ashley (Michael) and Spencer; brother, Roger (Jane); sisters, Linda (Oskar) and Frances (JO); his very special mother-in-law, Jean Wynd DeWolfe; brothers-in-law, Jim DeWolfe (Suzie Linn), Don Wynd; sister-in-law, Joanne Bach (Ray) and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 East Main Street, Endicott, with the Rev. Dr. Arthur M. Suggs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in loving memory of Leslie J. Truesdale be made to CorgiAid, Inc., 2108 N. 38th Street, Seattle, WA 98103. This organization covers medical expenses for abandoned and rescued corgis and is solely funded by donations. The family would also like to convey their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ideal, Daisy and Rose Courts for the loving care they provided to Les. Our journey would have been so much harder without them. We love you more!
