Obituary of Donald K McNair

Donald K. McNair Formerly of Maine, NY Donald K. McNair, 82, formerly of Maine NY went to be with his Lord on 4/20/2009. He was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Pearl McNair, and his brothers Charles, Leon, Wendell and Morris of Windsor NY. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Evelyn (Fellows) and his daughters Donna & Joseph Majka, Kathi and Wade Ingalls and Paula. Nine grandchildren - Renee, Zachary, Alicia, Kelly, Tylor, Joshua, Joy, Brittany, Jessica and 1 great grandchild - Audrey. He was a graduate of Windsor High School and Farmingdale Agriculture and Technical College. He served 2 years in the US Army. He was employed by Endicott Agway for 32 years and owned McNairs' Greenhouses. He was a member of Susquehanna Valley Grange, Maine OES #599 and Maine Lodge #399 of which he was the master in 1976. He was a Grand Representative to S. Dakota for the Grand Lodge in 1991. He was a member of Union Center United Methodist Church NY and OPC FL. His passion was gardening and playing pinochile. He loved his family and he will be greatly missed. Funeral services wil be Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc. 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Brown Naik, pastor of the Union Center United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Maine Cemetery, Maine, NY. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Maine Lodge No. 399 F & AM will conduct a Masonic Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Maine Chapter No. 599 OES will conduct an Eastern Star Memorial Service Saturday at 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral time at 11:00 A.M.
