Obituary of Olga Nehlad Presowitz
Olga Nehlad Presowitz of Jacksonville, FL peacefully died of natural causes April 13, 2016 at age 94. She was born March 3, 1922 in Endicott, NY to Afenasy (Joseph) and Anna Belo Nehlad. Olga is survived by her dear sister, Nadine Warski, and treasured nieces and nephew, Mona Warski Leo (Tony), Lisa Warski Deason (Bob), Alix Warski Hice (Larry) and Mark Warski, as well as 4 grandnieces and 3 grandnephews, 4 great-grandnieces and 2 great-grandnephews, several godchildren, and very special neighbors, Don and Sandy Moran. Olga was a dedicated employee of IBM Endicott for 43 years. She was a faithful lifelong member of SS. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, where she sang in the choir for many years. She moved to Jacksonville in 2009 to be close to her immediate family. Although Olga had no children of her own, she loved all children and was a sweet, kind, generous, and unconditionally loving "Aunty" to all. Her favorite place to visit was San Francisco, which she considered her second home. Olga had a contagious love of life and sense of humor; she was always easy going, never complaining, infinitely patient, and agreeable to all possibilities. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Sts. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Endicott, New York, with visitation prior to services at 12:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Olga preferred donations be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church in her memory.
