Obituary of Catherine A. Tulloch
Catherine Ann Tulloch, 72, of Endicott, NY, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal, NY after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 23, 1943 in Johnson City, NY to Michael and Helen Vanuga. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Arthur Tulloch. She is survived by her two children, daughter Heather (Jason) Junkins, son Michael Tulloch (Tammy DelSanto), her brother Michael (Carol) Vanuga, nephews Christopher (Karin) Vanuga and Steve (Anne) Vanuga. Cathy's mother and father preceded her in death. Cathy is a graduate of Union Endicott High School and went on to earn a business degree from SUNY Delhi. Upon graduation she worked for IBM Glendale and then made the bold decision to move to New York City in 1965 for IBM World Trade. This move launched her career in meeting planning and she subsequently owned several successful businesses and traveled the world. She moved back to Broome County in 1995 and worked as a development coordinator for several local non-profits. Cathy loved helping people and is most remembered for her role as a Medicare HIICAP coordinator at Action for Older Persons in Binghamton, NY. She was also a proud and active member of the Binghamton and Endicott Sertoma Clubs. The family wants to thank the staff and nurses on second floor south at Willow Point Nursing Home for their compassionate love and care. A Memorial Mass will be offered Friday, May 13 12:00PM at Church of the Holy Family 3600 Phyllis St., Endwell, NY. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 10AM until service time at noon.
