Obituary of Zelma A Czuhanich
Czuhanich, Zelma (Pearson)Zelma (Pearson) Czuhanich, age 86, of Endicott passed away on May 31, 2016 after living a long and wonderful life full of love and happiness. She is survived by her loving and loyal husband John and her children, Arlynn O'Gara (Vincent) and Lorraine Dutkowsky (Robert), 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother Milo Pearson and dog Duke. She is predeceased by her son Alexander, her parents, her sisters Zelda and Louise and brothers Herman, Harold and Otto and several adored pets. Born on June 7, 1929 in Binghamton, NY to Rano Pearson and Odessa Miller Pearson, Zelma lived her entire life in the triple cities. Married to John Czuhanich June 25, 1949. Zelma settled down in Endicott, raised a family, regularly volunteered at their church, and in later years retired into a life of a loving pet parent and fantastic grandmother. She was a member of the Broome County Marine Corp Women's Auxiliary. She will be remembered by her loved ones for her independent spirit, creative artistic abilities, love of baking and fierce loyalty to those she loved. Zelma's family would like to thank all the staff at UHS Ideal skilled nursing for the love and compassion they showed to Zelma. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, from 2-4 PM and funeral Monday, June 6 at 10:30 AM at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main Street, Endicott, NY 13760. Burial will follow at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting Memorial donations be made in Zelma's honor to the J. W.
