Obituary of Alice E. Schnurbusch

Alice E. Schnurbusch, 76 of Vestal, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Absolut of Endicott where she resided. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred M. Schnurbusch, Jr. and son, Fred M Schnurbusch, III. She is survived by her son, Glenn E. (Beverly) Schnurbusch; daughters, Penny A. (Ron) Sodon and Diane K. (Steven) Yeager; seven grandchildren, Melanie Schnurbusch, James and Matthew Barragree, Katlyn and Colleen Sodon, Desire'e (Mark) Collins and Michael Yeager; six great grandchildren, Michael Predmore, Taylor and Hunter Barragree, Cheyanne Sodon, Damian Repsher and Aiden Malles; sister, Eleanor West; sisters-in-law, Patricia and Margaret Schnurbusch, Helen and Jerry Kircher; several nieces and nephews. Alice was a waitress for many years at several local restaurants and was a member of the Pocahontas in Vestal Center. She was a South Vestal resident for 46 years. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20 at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal, with Deacon Dale Crotsley officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive their friends on Monday from 10 -11 AM at the funeral home.
