Obituary of William W. Dailey

William W. Dailey, 92, went to eternal rest at Willow Point Nursing Home on July 14, 2016. He will be missed by his wife Shirley; sons, Larry of Endicott, Joel of New Orleans, LA, Brian (Nancy) of Cortland and Michael (Patricia) of Baltimore, MD; four granddaughters, Allison Echhardt Providence, NJ, Jennifer Dailey of Albany, NY, Hannah and Isabelle Dailey of New Orleans, LA; two great-granddaughters of Providence, NJ; also a niece, Sharon Cappellett of Myrtle Beach, SC. Bill was owner and operator of Endwell Wine & Liquor Store. He served his country in WW II in the US Air Force. In the Korean War, he was in an air sea rescue unit. He was a member of the American Legion Post 82 and a member of First United Methodist Church, Endicott, where he and Shirley were married 67 years ago. Memorial services will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, on Friday August 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dale E. Austin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Bill can be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 53 McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
